Yes. The battery will need to be take out and charged when dead and then the unit should function again. However, this long term can reduce the life expectancy of the battery.
Will ghost control panel work with battery connected, but no solar/ac connected to it? Heavy Duty Single Automatic Gate Opener Kit - TSS1
I have an existing 12 volt battery charged by a solar panel/inverter/charge controller that I use for a pond pump. I was hoping to run a separate wire from that battery to power the ghost control.
