In order to attach the bracket to the gate a horizontal cross member will need to be added.
How do I attach the arm to a gate with narrow vertical bars? Replacement Bracket Kit for Architectural/Manor/Pro Series Second Arm - MBK5DA
The bar attachment is too large for vertical bars.
