Leave the control box turned off and connect the battery and the solar panel, per the installation manual. The unit will charge the battery.
Can I begin solar charging the batteries without the entire system being installed? If so what connection do I mak
I'm installing the dual gate opener in my "spare time" this could take a week or longer. I have the control panel mounted (turned off) and the battery box installed but not hooked up (no batteries in the box yet). Next move is to mount the Ghost Controls 30w solar panel. I would assume that I can begin charging the batteries but need to know what connections to make or not make so I don't cause any damage to the control panel. I have the red panel if that makes any difference.
