The package says please charge completely befor installation, how is the battery charged
12-Volt Multi-Use Sealed Lead Acid Battery - AXBT
I just got two premium multi use 12 volt 7.0 amp hour batteries from ghost controls, model number ABXT. On the package it says 'PLEASE CHARGE BATTERY COMPLETELY BEFORE USE, are the batteries not fully charged in the box? If not how is the battery charged? I went on the question ap and it appears that all the questions were about the battery and solar systems. Can this battery be used in a non solar system. If so, with no solar recharge how long can we expect the battery to last?

The battery can be tested with a voltmeter before installation. The voltage reading should read around 12.5 VDC. If not, the battery can be placed on an external 12 VDC 2 amp or less trickle charger. And our battery box is perfect for those not using solar and the battery is trickle charged from the ac transformer that you will need to add 16 gauge 2 stranded outdoor wire to connect the transformer to the control board.
