All Ghost openers are 12-volt DC systems and must run directly off a battery. You can charge that battery with either a solar panel or AC power via a transformer and 16 gauge stranded wire.
Can this be wired to a 12v DC transformer with 7 amps max current?
Can this be wired to a 12v DC transformer with 7 amps max current? Provided the AC and solar are unplugged, is 12v DC supplied frm a hardwired DC power supply/transformer sufficient to drive the motors in the gate? I am having issues with batteries not charging or failing after some time. m
