is the DEP2 opener covered under warranty
Heavy Duty Dual Automatic Gate Opener Kit - TDS2
Cover has developed a small hairline crack at the rear of the arm near the rear mount post bracket. Can I seal the crack with a silicone?

A crack in the housing would indicate excessive external force exerted on the arm greater than what the system can generate on its own. Assuming your arm is still functioning normally, sealing the crack is not harmful to the mechanism.
