Typically, the gate opener would be installed on the side of the gate facing the property and set up to pull the gate open inwards. However, if you require the opener to be mounted on the outside of the gate, it will need to be configured to push the gate open towards the property. This is known as a push-to-open setup and requires additional AXPO brackets.
