Having Wi-Fi at the gate will allow you to open your gates from anywhere. If you don't have Wi-Fi available at the gate, you can still use your phone's Bluetooth to open the gates when you're within Bluetooth range.
Will multiconnect connect to internet without wifi SMART Single Decorative Gate opener Kit with MultiConnect Bundle
I don't have wifi available at the front gate.
