I unscrewed and screwed the operator arm in and out. I should not have done that. What now?

I have an LSM1. I made a mistake during installation and ended up screwing the operator arm in and out. I now realize I should not have done that. What is the correct position? Should I screww the arm all the way in?

With the arm detached from the gate, please use your remote to activate the arm. Be sure to hold on to the end of the arm to keep it from spinning. This should allow the arm to return fully retract into the home position. Then you should be able to set your limits as per the instructions.
