We typically do not recommend this product on upswing doors mainly because the arm stroke may not be long enough to provide a large enough opening.
Weight limit and upward swing? Solar Coop Door Opener with Battery Kit - CKBTXP
I have a door within in the size parameters, but it is 2x4 framed and insulated, the hinges are also on the top of the door. The door swings open upwards. Will this opener be able to open a door with as much weight as mine? And will is be able to hold it open on a door that swings upwards?
