Yes the limit is 50' due to the voltage drop which will cause an error and not allow the system to operate properly.

Good day. We have just bought and installed a ghost control dual fate opener and we love it. But.. we have a newly poured concrete pad and we want to avoid grinding it just to set the wiring of the 2nd arm to connect to the control box. We do have about 70 ft distance where we can route it around underground. The cable that came with it is just 25ft and won't be long enough. Can we just connect a 2464-22AWG -4C wire to extend the 2nd arm to the control box? Will it work or we can only use 25ft of cable ?
