This is a good question. Your control board only has one set of terminals for a single gate opener. You will need to upgrade your board to a dial control board and then add a replacement arm. This might be a good time if your thinking about adding phone capabilities to your gate of looking at the upgrade dual multi connect bundle and then the replacement second arm.
