The magnetic sensor that comes with the ismart gate lite the max distance is 50ft.
The power draw from the ismart gate is 5-6 times what the gate does normally. You can wire it up but you would need at minimum 100 watt plus solar panel with a charge controller for the battery plus the largest deep cycle marine battery you can find. Plus the ismart gate lite comes with an ac plug. You would have to purchase their dc/dc converter if you want to power it from the board/battery.
