The gate opener can be programmed to either auto close (5 sec- 60 min) or you can choose to not set up the auto close feature and you would then need to use your remote to open and close your gate. We do not recommend if you have horses to install our wired or wireless vehicle sensors. We would recommend having a keypad inside your property for guests to exit your property.
