We recommend that you switch to a deep cycle marine battery. The multi-connect unit continuously draws current that may draw the smaller batteries below the operating range causing improper operation.

Will this work with my DTP1XP Solar Architectural Single Automatic Gate Opener Kit? You mention I would need deep cycle marine battery. My kit came with solar and 2 batteries.
